Become A Member
Joining Paducah Cooperative Ministry is easy and there are many benefits of becoming a PCM member congregation!
- Your church will partner with congregations to create a stronger impact in providing assistance for basic human needs, by constantly striving to make the best use of limited community resources in an efficient, effective manner
- PCM member congregations provide the resources, while PCM staff members provide the expertise to ask the difficult questions, verify important information, and make appropriate referrals
- Education, accountability, and extensive record-keeping are coupled with hospitality and compassion to form the cornerstones of the PCM program
- Building and strengthening relationships with other community resource experts ensures cooperative efforts and avoids duplication
To become a member congregation you must:
- Agree to the stated purpose and mission of Paducah Cooperative Ministry
- Support the work of PCM with annual financial and in-kind contributions
- Appoint two individuals from your congregation to serve as representatives to the PCM Council (in addition to the congregation’s pastor)
- Pray for the ministry regularly, asking God to lift up and guide the ministry’s efforts
